Thorns of the Invokeris a Crusader course of study set inDiablo III.

The maiden bonus causes a swas of Thorns around the Crusader, not around the target (which coincidentally lines up with the Scourge of the Unfree orbit of force). Blocking an attack also grants a stack, so a high block percentage is beneficial and maximizing block chance is advised.

Originally, this set was committed to be (and, arsenic of 2.4, at last is) the Crusader class set.[1]
In Lordly 2015, Wyatt Cheng confirmed that the developers were planning to retread this set, victimization not-niggling findings and bonuses, possibly related to Crusader class skills. He declared that something associated Thorns would represent part of the Invoker's coiffur for certain, and Thorns will not welfare from critical hits. Unusual ring/amulet stats could synergize substantially with thorns, and the set force out directly reference Crusader skills, such as Afflict, Justice, Fortunate Shield, Fist of the Heavens, Consecration, Laws of Justice, Laws of Hope and Bombardment, to make this set Greater Rift capable.[2]
